Hi I’m Becca, the no BS therapist
I don’t use cheesy quotes or confusing terms, just useful mental health insight and easy to understand diagrams – with plenty of swearing! With me, you’ll get no jargon, no nonsense – no BS!
I’ll help you become aware of why you behave the way you do and find coping techniques which actually work for you. We’ll find the right answers for you and help you get back to where you want to be – and more.
You’ll understand yourself and your relationships better, to see real changes in your everyday life so you don’t need me anymore – after all, you probably don’t want to be in therapy forever.
We will always follow your pace and I’ll never push you before you’re ready. Counselling and therapy are not about giving advice on how to live your life, instead we’ll work out the right answers for you.
I’m also BACP registered, so I strictly follow their ethics guidelines.
Please get in contact if you’d like more information from a free, no-obligation initial session. If you decide that counselling or therapy isn’t right for you, we can explore alternative support options for you.
My Approach
I’m trained in multiple types of therapy, so I can pick and choose the right bits of each for you.
My approaches focus on:
- understanding how your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours are connected
- the importance of your relationships throughout life
- exploring your identity and finding how you can be the person you want to be
- relating your physical and mental health and working out the mind-body link
If any of these sound particularly helpful or unhelpful for you, just let me know.
